Tigress, from the Kung Fu Panda franchise, is one of the Furious Five and a skilled practitioner of the Tiger Style of Kung Fu. She initially resided at the Jade Palace, where she was raised by Master Shifu after being abandoned as a cub due to her uncontrollable strength.

Initially, Tigress aspired to be the Dragon Warrior, a title eventually bestowed upon Po, a panda. Her backstory reveals her struggles with controlling her inner rage and destructive tendencies, making her believe she was a danger to others. Shifu dedicated himself to teaching her discipline and control.

Driven, fiercely loyal, and known for her stoicism, Tigress is a formidable fighter. Throughout the series, she learns to overcome her emotional barriers and accept Po, her teammates, and ultimately herself. Her reserved exterior hides a deep capacity for compassion and a commitment to protecting the Valley of Peace.

Voice acted by Angelina Jolie, Tigress evolved from a conflicted and resentful warrior into a compassionate leader. She became a crucial ally to Po, demonstrating loyalty and embracing friendship, despite their differing personalities.
