Monkey D. Garp, often referred to as "Garp the Fist," is a legendary Marine Vice Admiral in the anime and manga series One Piece. He is a highly respected and powerful figure, known for his immense strength and dedication to justice, albeit his own unique brand of it.

Garp is the father of Monkey D. Dragon, the leader of the Revolutionary Army, and the adoptive grandfather of Monkey D. Luffy, the protagonist of the series, and Portgas D.
