Goten is a character from the animated series Dragon Ball Z. He is the second son of Goku and Chi-Chi, making him a Saiyan-Human hybrid.
Goten first appears in episode 201 of Dragon Ball Z, titled "Starting the World Martial Arts Tournament!". He is introduced as a young boy with remarkable fighting potential, already capable of using Super Saiyan transformations at a very young age.
Throughout the series, Goten is often paired with his best friend Trunks, the son of Vegeta. The two are known for their playful antics and are frequently training partners. They are also instrumental in the fight against Majin Buu, eventually mastering the Fusion technique to become the powerful warrior Gotenks.
