The Elite Praetorian Guard are enigmatic warriors serving the Supreme Leader of the First Order. These guards are clad in crimson armor, visually reminiscent of Emperor Palpatine's Royal Guards from the Galactic Empire era.
Their primary function is to protect the Supreme Leader from any and all threats. They are highly skilled in various forms of combat, wielding unique melee weapons such as vibro-blades, electro-bisentos, and whips.
The Elite Praetorian Guard first appeared in *Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi*. They engaged in a fierce battle with Rey and Kylo Ren in Snoke's throne room after Kylo betrayed and killed his master.
