Biography:
U.S. Agent, also known as John Walker, is a character from Marvel Comics. He first appeared as Super-Patriot in Captain America #323 (November 1986), before becoming U.S. Agent in Captain America #354 (June 1989).
Chosen by the Commission on Superhuman Activities, Walker was initially selected to replace Steve Rogers as Captain America, following Rogers's disagreement with the government. Enhanced with superhuman strength and agility mirroring Captain America's, Walker took on the mantle.
His tenure as Captain America was marked by a more aggressive and morally ambiguous approach compared to Rogers. After Rogers reclaimed the title, Walker was given a new identity and costume, becoming the U.S. Agent, acting as a government operative with considerable autonomy.
