Biography:

Skurge, known as the Executioner, first appeared in Journey into Mystery #103 (April 1964).

Skurge is a half-giant warrior from Jotunheim, an enemy of Asgard. He wields a magical double-bladed axe.

Known for his immense strength and brutality, the Executioner initially serves as an ally and enforcer for the Enchantress. He is often coerced into doing her bidding due to his unrequited love for her.

Over time, Skurge develops a sense of honor and eventually turns against the Enchantress, sacrificing himself heroically to save Thor and other innocent lives. This act of redemption cemented his legacy beyond that of a simple villain.
