Pokemon

Red is the silent protagonist of the original Pokémon video games, Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue, and Pokémon Yellow, released in Japan as Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green. He is a young boy from Pallet Town who embarks on a journey to become the Pokémon Champion of the Kanto region.

Red's quest begins when Professor Oak tasks him and his rival, Blue (also known as Green in Japan), with completing the Pokédex, a comprehensive encyclopedia of all known Pokémon. He battles Gym Leaders throughout Kanto, earning badges that allow him to progress.

Beyond collecting Pokémon and battling Gym Leaders, Red confronts Team Rocket, a criminal organization led by Giovanni. He ultimately defeats Giovanni and becomes the Pokémon League Champion by defeating the Elite Four and Blue.

Red is often depicted as a stoic and determined trainer. After becoming Champion, he famously retreats to Mt. Silver, where he can be battled by the player character in later games, cementing his legacy as a legendary trainer and a formidable opponent.
