Rush Clovis was a human male who served as a key figure in galactic politics and finance during the Clone Wars era. Hailing from a wealthy family on the planet Oovoo IV, Clovis rose through the ranks to become a powerful banker and eventually a Separatist senator representing the Banking Clan.

Known for his ambition and complex loyalties, Clovis navigated the treacherous political landscape, often caught between the Republic and the Separatist factions. His relationships with prominent figures, particularly Senator Padmé Amidala, further complicated his position. They shared a close, sometimes romantic, bond, which occasionally influenced his decisions.

Clovis's pursuit of personal gain and power led him to engage in dubious dealings and collaborations, ultimately contributing to instability within the Galactic Republic. He was involved in several controversial schemes, including manipulating the Muunilinst banking system and collaborating with Count Dooku to take control of Geonosian droid factories.

Ultimately, Clovis's ambition and conflicted loyalties led to his downfall. Though he occasionally demonstrated genuine remorse and a desire to do good, his actions often had negative consequences for the galaxy at large. He died on Geonosis attempting to correct some of the problems he had created.
