Eddard "Ned" Stark, Lord of Winterfell and Warden of the North, is a central character in George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" and the HBO adaptation, "Game of Thrones." Born into the noble House Stark, known for their honor and stoicism, Ned was fostered at the Eyrie alongside Robert Baratheon.

He rose to prominence during Robert's Rebellion, triggered by the abduction of his sister, Lyanna Stark. Ned played a crucial role in overthrowing the Targaryen dynasty, solidifying the Baratheon claim to the Iron Throne.
