Biography:
Keisuke Takahashi is a prominent character in the popular street racing anime and manga series, Initial D. He is the younger brother of Ryosuke Takahashi, leader of the Akagi RedSuns racing team.
Initially, Keisuke is the RedSuns' main offensive driver, excelling in downhill races. He pilots a yellow Mazda RX-7 Type R (FD3S), meticulously maintained and tuned for power and performance.
Unlike his brother's strategic and analytical approach, Keisuke's driving style is characterized by raw passion and aggressive maneuvers. He initially underestimates Takumi Fujiwara, but his defeats against the 86 fuel his determination to improve.
Later, Keisuke joins Project D, a racing team founded by Ryosuke. He becomes one of its two ace drivers, specializing in power courses. His goal is to become a professional racer, dedicating himself to honing his skills and pushing his FD3S to its limits.
