Broly is a powerful Saiyan character who debuted in the 1993 Dragon Ball Z movie, "Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan".
Within the Dragon Ball Z continuity, Broly is presented as a Saiyan born with an extraordinarily high power level, leading to instability and uncontrollable rage. His power is so immense that he is referred to as the "Legendary Super Saiyan," a being of immense destructive potential.
He is driven by a deep-seated hatred for Goku, stemming from their shared nursery where Goku's constant crying disturbed the infant Broly. This fuels his destructive rampages and his desire to eliminate Goku.
Broly's character has undergone different iterations across various Dragon Ball media, but the core concept remains consistent: an immensely powerful and uncontrollable Saiyan with a strong connection, and hostility, towards Goku.
