Princess Nuala is a fictional character appearing in the Hellboy comic book series published by Dark Horse Comics, created by Mike Mignola.
She is an Elven princess, daughter of King Balor of the Golden Army, and twin sister to Prince Nuada. Nuala shares a telepathic link with her brother, experiencing his pain and possessing knowledge of his plans.
Unlike her brother, who desires to wage war against humanity, Nuala is compassionate and seeks peace between the magical realm and the human world. Her gentle nature and empathy lead her to oppose Nuada's violent ambitions.
In the comic adaptation of Hellboy II: The Golden Army, Nuala is forced to flee her home to safeguard the last piece of the Crown of the Golden Army, which her brother seeks to control. She allies herself with Hellboy and his team in an effort to stop Nuada's war.
