Biography:
Indominus Rex, featured in the 2015 film Jurassic World, is a genetically engineered dinosaur hybrid. She was created by Dr. Henry Wu at InGen for the purpose of revitalizing Jurassic World's attendance numbers.
Her genetic makeup is primarily Tyrannosaurus Rex, but includes DNA from Velociraptor, Carnotaurus, Majungasaurus, Rugops, and Giganotosaurus. She also possessed traits borrowed from modern animals, such as cuttlefish (for camouflage) and tree frogs (for thermal regulation).
Indominus Rex was designed to be larger, fiercer, and more intelligent than any dinosaur previously seen in the park. Her camouflage abilities allowed her to evade detection, while her strength and cunning made her a formidable predator. She ultimately proved too dangerous to control, leading to the park's collapse and the deaths of several visitors and employees.
She met her end in a climactic battle, ultimately being dragged underwater and killed by the Mosasaurus.
