Agnetha Fältskog, born April 5, 1950, is a Swedish singer-songwriter, musician, and actress, best known as one of the lead vocalists of the iconic pop group ABBA.
Prior to ABBA's global success, Fältskog had a successful solo career in Sweden, releasing several albums and charting hit singles. Her songwriting talent was also evident early on.
With ABBA, from 1972 to 1982, she achieved international superstardom alongside Björn Ulvaeus (her then-husband), Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. Her distinctive soprano voice and stage presence were key elements of ABBA's sound and visual appeal.
After ABBA's disbandment, Fältskog resumed her solo career, releasing several well-received albums in English and Swedish. She has remained a significant figure in popular music and a beloved personality in Sweden.
