Willis Stryker, also known as Diamondback, is a fictional character appearing in Marvel Comics. He first appeared in Luke Cage, Hero for Hire #1 (June 1972).
The Netflix version of Diamondback is portrayed as Willis Harold Stryker. He is a central antagonist in the Luke Cage TV series. Stryker is Luke Cage's estranged half-brother and possesses exceptional combat skills.
His motivations are largely driven by a deep-seated resentment towards Luke, stemming from childhood differences and perceived parental favoritism. This fuels his desire to destroy Luke and claim Harlem's criminal underworld for himself.
