M'Baku is a Wakandan warrior and leader, primarily known for his portrayal in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He leads the Jabari tribe, a group of Wakandans who have isolated themselves in the mountains and maintain a distinct cultural identity.
Introduced in the MCU film *Black Panther* (2018), M'Baku initially challenges T'Challa for the throne of Wakanda. He is portrayed as a fierce and honorable warrior with a deep commitment to his people's traditions.
Despite his initial opposition, M'Baku ultimately allies himself with T'Challa, fighting alongside him against threats to Wakanda and proving to be a valuable asset in the defense of his nation. He is played by Winston Duke.
