Galadriel, from J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth, is one of the most powerful and influential Elves in the Third Age. She is a member of the Noldor, one of the three High Elven kindreds.

While not explicitly named, Galadriel makes an appearance in *The Hobbit* as one of the Elves present at the White Council meeting. She actively opposed the growing shadow of Sauron and played a crucial role in resisting his power. Known for her wisdom and foresight, Galadriel possessed Nenya, one of the Three Rings of Power given to the Elves.

She ruled Lothlórien with her husband Celeborn, and their realm offered refuge and guidance to the Fellowship of the Ring in their quest to destroy the One Ring. Galadriel's influence extended throughout Middle Earth, and she used her power to combat the darkness and preserve the beauty of the Elven realms.
