Biography:

Bifur is a Dwarf from J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth, appearing in The Hobbit. He is one of the thirteen Dwarves who accompany Bilbo Baggins and Thorin Oakenshield on their quest to reclaim the treasure from Smaug the dragon.

Bifur, along with his cousin Bofur and brother Bombur, are not of Durin's line, but hail from Moria. They joined Thorin's company out of a sense of loyalty and a desire for adventure, rather than a direct claim to the treasure.

In the LEGO theme Dwarfs, Bifur is identified by beard and outfit as well as axe.
