Éomer is a character from J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth legendarium, first appearing in The Two Towers, the second volume of The Lord of the Rings.
He is the nephew of King Théoden of Rohan, through his sister Théodwyn, and becomes the eighteenth King of Rohan after Théoden's death. Prior to his ascension, he serves as Third Marshal of the Riddermark.
Known for his bravery and martial prowess, Éomer is a skilled warrior and leader of men. He is initially banished by Théoden, influenced by Gríma Wormtongue, but is later reinstated and plays a crucial role in the battles against Saruman and Sauron, including the Battle of the Hornburg and the Battle of the Pelennor Fields.
