Dwalin is a Dwarf warrior from Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit" film trilogy, based on J.R.R. Tolkien's book. He is one of the thirteen Dwarves who accompany Thorin Oakenshield on his quest to reclaim Erebor, the Lonely Mountain, from the dragon Smaug.
Dwalin is portrayed as a strong and formidable fighter, often seen wielding axes and hammers. His loyalty to Thorin and his fellow Dwarves is unwavering. He is known for his gruff demeanor and his close relationship with his younger brother, Balin.
Dwalin's first appearance in the films is in "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" (2012), where he arrives at Bilbo Baggins's home alongside the other Dwarves.
