Ava Starr, known as Ghost in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), is a complex antagonist introduced in the 2018 film Ant-Man and the Wasp. Played by Hannah John-Kamen, her first appearance is therefore in this movie.
Ava suffers from "molecular disequilibrium" as a result of an accident involving one of her father's experiments. This condition causes her to phase uncontrollably through matter, experiencing constant pain.
