Ki-Adi-Mundi was a Cerean male Jedi Master who served on the Jedi High Council during the final years of the Galactic Republic, as seen throughout the Star Wars prequel trilogy.
His first appearance was in Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace (1999), where he is depicted as a wise and experienced Jedi, recognizable by his elongated head, which housed a binary brain.
Mundi played a prominent role during the Clone Wars, a conflict showcased in Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series, Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones (2002) and Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith (2005). A skilled warrior and strategist, he often led clone trooper battalions into battle. Despite his commitment to the Jedi Order, he held traditional Cerean views on family and was permitted to have a family due to the Cerean low birth rate.
Ki-Adi-Mundi ultimately met his end during Order 66 in Revenge of the Sith, betrayed and killed by the clone troopers under his command.
