W'Kabi is a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), appearing in the 2018 film, Black Panther.
Portrayed by Daniel Kaluuya, W'Kabi is T'Challa's close friend and the head of security for the Border Tribe of Wakanda. He is fiercely loyal to Wakanda and initially questions T'Challa's decisions when he takes the throne.
Motivated by a desire for Wakanda to aggressively use its vibranium technology to aid oppressed people around the world, W'Kabi ultimately betrays T'Challa and sides with Killmonger during his coup.
After Killmonger's defeat, W'Kabi surrenders and faces the consequences of his actions.
