Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima, commonly known as Ronaldo, is a retired Brazilian football player widely regarded as one of the greatest strikers of all time. He primarily played as a center-forward, known for his exceptional speed, dribbling skills, and finishing ability.

Ronaldo started his professional career with Cruzeiro in Brazil before moving to Europe, where he played for PSV Eindhoven, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, AC Milan, and Corinthians. He won numerous individual awards, including the Ballon d'Or twice and the FIFA World Player of the Year three times.

Representing Brazil, Ronaldo wore the number #9 jersey and played in four FIFA World Cups. He was a key member of the winning squads in 1994 and 2002, and finished as the tournament's top scorer in 2002. His goal-scoring record for Brazil is among the best in international football history.
