Plo Koon, renowned as a wise and powerful Jedi Master, served the Galactic Republic with distinction during the Clone Wars. A Kel Dor from Dorin, he was easily identifiable by his unique breathing mask and anti-glare goggles necessary to survive oxygen-rich atmospheres.
Koon possessed exceptional Force abilities, particularly excelling in telepathy and the power of electric judgement. He was among the Jedi Council members who initially supported the creation of the Grand Army of the Republic, recognizing the necessity of combating the Separatist threat.
During the Clone Wars, Plo Koon led numerous clone trooper legions in battles across the galaxy, often engaging in daring aerial combat. Notably, he discovered Ahsoka Tano as a young Force-sensitive child and brought her to the Jedi Temple for training. His strategic mind and bravery made him a valuable asset to the Republic. His cold-weather gear was specifically for missions in environments where even his Kel Dor physiology struggled.
Sadly, Plo Koon fell victim to Order 66. While piloting his starfighter, clone troopers under his command executed the order, shooting him down over Cato Neimoidia.
