Cade Skywalker is a character from the Star Wars Legends continuity, making his first appearance in *Star Wars: Legacy #1* (2006).
He is a descendant of Luke Skywalker, born over a century after the events of the original trilogy. Unlike his revered ancestor, Cade rejects the Jedi path, embracing a life of piracy and bounty hunting. He possesses powerful Force abilities, including healing, but actively suppresses them due to the trauma he experienced witnessing the death of his father, Kol Skywalker, during a Sith attack on the Jedi Temple on Ossus.
Cade is portrayed as cynical, rebellious, and haunted by his past. He is addicted to death sticks, a form of spice, which further clouds his judgement. Despite his outward appearance, he eventually embraces his destiny as a Skywalker and confronts the Sith threat that plagues the galaxy.
