Bill Potts was a companion of the Twelfth Doctor in the British science fiction television series, Doctor Who. Introduced in 2017, she was portrayed by actress Pearl Mackie.
Bill was a canteen worker at St. Luke's University in Bristol, where the Doctor worked as a lecturer. Curious and inquisitive, she attended the Doctor's lectures and eventually became his student and protégé. He took her under his wing, teaching her about science and the universe.
