Biography:
Bill Potts, portrayed by Pearl Mackie, is a companion of the Twelfth Doctor in the British science fiction television program Doctor Who. She first appeared in "The Pilot" (2017), the first episode of the tenth series.
Bill is depicted as a young, openly lesbian woman working in a university canteen when she encounters the Doctor, who is working as a professor there. Intrigued by her inquisitive mind and genuine thirst for knowledge, the Doctor becomes her tutor, eventually inviting her to travel with him in the TARDIS.
Throughout her travels with the Doctor, Bill experiences the wonders and dangers of the universe, confronting various alien threats and grappling with complex moral dilemmas.
