Biography:

Arnim Zola is a fictional character appearing in Marvel Comics, first appearing in Captain America #208 (April 1977). He is a brilliant, yet mad, Swiss biochemist who became obsessed with genetic engineering and human experimentation.

Zola developed technology that allowed him to transfer his consciousness into a robotic body. This allowed him to effectively achieve immortality and continue his experiments, often creating grotesque and powerful bio-engineered monsters.

As a character in the MCU, Arnim Zola appears in the movie Captain America: The First Avenger, portrayed by Toby Jones. He is initially a scientist working for the Red Skull's HYDRA organization. Later he is seen in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, where his consciousness has been transferred into a massive computer system, allowing him to continue influencing HYDRA's operations from within.
