Michonne is a prominent character in The Walking Dead TV Show. She first appears in the Season 2 finale, "Beside the Dying Fire," initially shrouded in mystery.

A fierce and resourceful survivor, Michonne is distinguished by her use of a katana. Before the apocalypse, she was a lawyer. She is strong-willed and independent, often guarding her emotions but fiercely loyal to those she trusts.

Throughout the TV Show, Michonne evolves from a solitary wanderer to a key member and leader within the survivor communities. She becomes romantically involved with Rick Grimes, and adopts his son, Carl as her own, forming a close family unit.
