He contributes greatly to Alexandria's survival through his innovative solutions and strategic thinking. While still retaining his quirks and anxieties, Eugene demonstrates a growing capacity for loyalty, sacrifice, and leadership, eventually playing a key role in the war against the Saviors and subsequent challenges faced by the communities.
