Adam Savage is best known as the co-host of the popular science entertainment television program MythBusters. He first appeared on the Discovery Channel show in January 2003, alongside Jamie Hyneman.
Born July 15, 1967, Savage is an American special effects designer, fabricator, and television personality. Prior to MythBusters, he worked in the special effects industry for films and television commercials.
On MythBusters, Savage, with his energetic and enthusiastic personality, investigated the plausibility of myths, urban legends, and other popular beliefs. He often constructed elaborate experiments and tests to either confirm or debunk the claims.
