Edward Elizabeth Hitler, commonly known as Eddie Hitler, is a fictional character from the British television sitcom *Bottom*, created by and starring Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson.
Eddie is one half of the destructive and dysfunctional duo that forms the core of the series. He resides in a squalid flat with his flatmate, Richie Richard, where they engage in a perpetual cycle of slapstick violence, petty theft, and failed schemes.
Played by Adrian Edmondson, Eddie is portrayed as the slightly more grounded and pragmatic of the two, often exhibiting a low cunning compared to Richie's delusional optimism. However, his intelligence is relative, and he is equally prone to violent outbursts and idiotic behavior.
