Francesc "Cesc" Fàbregas Soler, born in Arenys de Mar, Spain, is a former professional footballer widely regarded as one of the best midfielders of his generation.
He began his career at Barcelona's La Masia academy before joining Arsenal's youth setup in 2003. He quickly became a key player for Arsenal, captaining the team from 2008 to 2011.
In 2011, Fàbregas returned to Barcelona, where he won a La Liga title, a Copa del Rey, and a FIFA Club World Cup. He then moved to Chelsea in 2014.
With Chelsea, he secured two Premier League titles and an FA Cup. He finished his Premier League career at Chelsea with an impressive assist record.
Internationally, Fàbregas was a vital member of the Spanish national team that won the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the 2008 and 2012 European Championships. He earned over 100 caps for Spain.
He concluded his playing career with AS Monaco and Como 1907, transitioning into coaching after retirement.
