Prometheus, also known as Adrian Chase, is a fictional character appearing in The CW's Arrow, part of the Arrowverse. He first appears in the show's fifth season.
Adrian Chase is initially presented as Star City's new district attorney, assisting Oliver Queen and his team. However, it's eventually revealed that he is actually Prometheus, a vigilante seeking revenge on Green Arrow for the death of his father, Justin Claybourne. Claybourne was killed by Green Arrow in his early days as a vigilante.
Fueled by a desire to make Oliver suffer, Prometheus systematically dismantles Oliver's life, targeting his loved ones and allies. He is a master strategist and hand-to-hand combatant, proving to be a formidable adversary. His ultimate goal is to break Oliver mentally and emotionally, pushing him to a dark place.
