Maggie Simpson is the youngest child in the animated sitcom, The Simpsons. A baby, she is almost always seen sucking on her red pacifier and is incapable of speaking beyond occasional noises.

Despite her age, Maggie has demonstrated surprising intelligence and independence throughout the series. She's been seen driving, playing musical instruments (saxophone, notably mimicking Lisa), and even saving her father, Homer, on multiple occasions. Her marksmanship is exceptional, as shown in the iconic opening sequence and various episodes.

Although she rarely speaks, voice acting for Maggie has been provided by various figures over the years, including Nancy Cartwright (mostly cooing sounds), Liz George, and most famously, Jodie Foster, who voiced her one speaking line in the episode "Lisa's First Word".

Maggie is an integral part of the Simpson family dynamic, often serving as a visual gag and occasionally participating in the family's misadventures, despite her youth and limited verbal communication.
