Paul Stanley, born Stanley Bert Eisen on January 20, 1952, is an American musician best known as the co-founder, rhythm guitarist, and co-lead vocalist of the rock band Kiss.

Stanley, alongside Gene Simmons, formed Kiss in New York City in 1973. His "Starchild" persona became iconic, characterized by star-shaped makeup over his right eye. He designed the band's logo, notable for its controversial "SS" elements in Germany.

Beyond Kiss, Stanley has pursued a solo career, releasing several solo albums and touring independently. He has also been involved in musical theater, notably performing in "The Phantom of the Opera".

Known for his powerful vocals and engaging stage presence, Stanley has been a central figure in Kiss's enduring success and impact on the rock music landscape. He is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, inducted with Kiss in 2014.
