Douglock is a fictional character appearing in Marvel Comics. He is a composite being formed from the merging of Warlock, an alien technarch, and Douglas Ramsey (Cypher), a mutant with the ability to intuitively understand and translate languages.
Douglock first appeared in New Mutants #95 (January 1991) after Warlock attempted to resurrect the recently deceased Cypher. The attempt was only partially successful, creating a new being with the memories, personalities, and abilities of both individuals.
Initially possessing a childlike innocence, Douglock gradually developed a more complex personality and played a significant role in the X-Men's affiliated teams, becoming a valuable member and friend.
