Biography:
Malakili was the beastmaster at Jabba the Hutt's palace on Tatooine.
Prior to his service with Jabba, Malakili was a circus performer. He possessed a strong affinity for animals, a skill which Jabba exploited.
His most prominent role at the palace involved caring for the Rancor, a fearsome creature kept in the dungeon beneath Jabba's throne room. Malakili displayed genuine affection for the Rancor, showing distress whenever it was harmed.
Malakili witnessed the Rancor's death at the hands of Luke Skywalker, an event which deeply saddened him and caused him to weep openly. He was later seen among the fleeing crowd when Luke Skywalker destroyed Jabba's Sail Barge.
