Overwatch

Mei-Ling Zhou, known as Mei, is a climatologist and adventurer in the Overwatch universe. Born in Xi'an, China, she was a key member of Overwatch's ecowatch initiative, tasked with preserving vulnerable ecosystems.

As a climatologist, Mei was stationed at Ecopoint: Antarctica to study climate anomalies. A polar storm isolated the team, forcing them into cryostasis. Mei was the only survivor, awakening nearly a decade later to a world drastically changed and Overwatch disbanded.

Driven by a commitment to environmentalism and fueled by her technologically advanced weather-manipulation equipment, Mei ventured out to re-establish the ecowatch initiative. Her primary weapon is the Endothermic Blaster, capable of freezing enemies, creating ice walls for defense, and healing herself through cryo-freeze.

Mei is characterized by her optimistic personality and unwavering dedication to science. She represents a hopeful figure in a world struggling with environmental challenges, fighting to preserve the planet's beauty and ensure a sustainable future.
