Biography:
Harpo Marx, born Adolph Marx, was one of the iconic Marx Brothers. He was known for his silent comedic performances, relying on mime, physical humor, and musical talent.
Harpo's character was defined by his red curly wig, tattered top hat, and penchant for honking a bicycle horn. He never spoke on screen, communicating through gestures and expressive facial expressions.
His first appearance as the character was in the stage play *I'll Say She Is* (1924), adapted to film later in *The Marx Brothers Scrapbook* (1946). Harpo's antics often involved chasing women, playing the harp (for which he was named), and disrupting social events with chaotic energy.
