Biography:

Captain Barbell is a Filipino superhero created by Mars Ravelo and Nestor Redondo.

He is the alter ego of Tenteng, a thin and weak young man.

Tenteng transforms into Captain Barbell by swallowing a magical barbell.

As Captain Barbell, he possesses superhuman strength, flight, and invulnerability. The character first appeared in Pilipino Komiks Magasin #397 (1963).
