Jackpot is the alias of Sara Ehret, a character appearing in Marvel Comics. She first appeared in Spider-Man: Swing Shift (October 2007). Ehret initially obtained Jackpot's powers – enhanced strength, speed, and agility – through experimental gene therapy designed to cure her Parkinson's disease.
However, the serum also caused adverse side effects. She reluctantly became Jackpot after accidentally stopping a mugging, feeling obligated to use her newfound abilities for good.
