Biography:

Longshot is a fictional character appearing in Marvel Comics, primarily associated with the X-Men. He first appeared in Longshot #1 (September 1985).

Longshot is an artificial being from the Mojoverse, a dimension ruled by the tyrannical Mojo. He possesses superhuman luck, or probability manipulation, which greatly increases his chances of success in any given situation.

He is often depicted as an amnesiac, struggling to understand the customs and values of Earth. Longshot has been a member of various X-Men teams, fighting alongside them against mutant threats and Mojo's schemes.
