Biography:
Marco Stiepermann is a German former professional footballer. He predominantly played as an attacking midfielder but was also deployed in other midfield and forward positions.
Born on February 9, 1991, Stiepermann's career began in the Borussia Dortmund youth system. He progressed through the ranks and eventually made his professional debut for Dortmund's second team.
Stiepermann played for Alemannia Aachen, Energie Cottbus, and SpVgg Greuther Fürth, before moving to England. He joined VfL Bochum in 2014 for a stint, but the deal fell through due to medical reasons. He then joined 2.Bundesliga side Greuther Fürth.
In 2017, he signed for Norwich City in the English Championship. He became a key player for the Canaries, contributing significantly to their Championship title win in the 2018–19 season. Stiepermann played for Norwich in the Premier League before departing in 2021.
After a spell with SC Paderborn 07, he retired in 2022 due to persistent knee injuries.
