WALL-E (Waste Allocation Load Lifter: Earth-Class) is a fictional character from the 2008 Pixar animated film of the same name. He is a compact, solar-powered robot left on a desolate, garbage-filled Earth to clean up the waste humanity left behind when they evacuated the planet due to its uninhabitable conditions.
