Christopher Powell is Darkhawk, a Marvel Comics superhero whose first appearance was in Darkhawk #1 (March 1991).
While searching an abandoned amusement park, teenager Christopher Powell discovers an amulet that allows him to transform into the armored Darkhawk. The amulet bonds him to an alien android body, granting him superhuman strength, flight, energy blasts, and a retractable claw.
Initially, Christopher could only transform near the amulet's location, but eventually, he learned to summon the Darkhawk armor at will, storing his human body in a pocket dimension while transformed. His adventures often involve battling street-level criminals and cosmic threats as he learns the origin and purpose of the Darkhawk armor.
