Kaede Rukawa is a fictional character from the Japanese manga series *Slam Dunk*, written and illustrated by Takehiko Inoue. He is a highly skilled basketball player and a key member of the Shohoku High School basketball team.

Rukawa first appears in the very beginning of the *Slam Dunk* manga and anime series as the star player everyone in the school admires. He is known for his exceptional athleticism, scoring ability, and relentless focus on the game. He wears jersey #11.
