Biography:

Hisashi Mitsui is a character from the anime series Slam Dunk, a basketball-themed show. His first appearance is in episode 27.

Initially introduced as a delinquent seeking to cause trouble for the Shohoku basketball team, Mitsui's backstory reveals he was a talented basketball player in middle school, leading his team to victory in a prefectural tournament. He felt indebted to Coach Anzai, who encouraged him.

After suffering a knee injury that sidelined him for an extended period, Mitsui grew disillusioned and abandoned basketball, leading him down a path of delinquency. Eventually, he confronts his past, repents for his actions, and rejoins the Shohoku team, becoming a valuable player.

He wears jersey number #14 and primarily plays as a shooting guard (SG). Mitsui is known for his three-point shooting ability and his tenacity on the court.
