Mister Miracle, also known as Scott Free, is a superhero character published by DC Comics. He first appeared in Mister Miracle #1 (April 1971).
Scott Free is the son of Highfather, the ruler of New Genesis, and was traded to Darkseid as part of a peace treaty between the two warring planets. Raised on the hellish world of Apokolips in Granny Goodness's orphanage, Scott endured immense hardship and torture. He learned to mask his true emotions to avoid negative attention.
Despite his upbringing, Scott never succumbed to Darkseid's evil. He escaped Apokolips with the help of Big Barda, a warrior of the Female Furies, and they fled to Earth, where they became superheroes. Scott adopted the persona of Mister Miracle, a master escape artist, using his skills and advanced technology from New Genesis to perform seemingly impossible feats.

He also possesses the "Mother Box," a sentient computer that grants him various abilities, including healing, teleportation, and force field generation.
